Find Yourself in a Selfless Act

Step One Halfway House offers a way for those who cannot afford it to participate at no cost through its Scholarship Program. This serves as a tremendous incentive for those who come to Step One penniless and hungry and with no job/source of income, no clothes, and no support system to help them. to cover their program fees, they volunteer 30-40 hours (about 4 and a half days a week.) in such tasks as food service, construction, working in a call center, and serving as entry-level laborers and receive a stipend check every two weeks.

Step One Halfway House, As A 501(C) (3) Not-For-Profit Organization, Has The Vision To Provide A Safe Environment To Homeless Americans And At-Risk Citizens Of Phoenix, AZ. In This Case, We Have Developed Programs Such As The 90-Day Certification Program, Scholarship Program, After Care Program, And Community Impact Program, Which Aim To Alleviate Poverty And Build A Healthy And Stable Community By Financially Empowering Its Vulnerable Populations.

Our Strategic Objectives

    We are a community resource for the weakest among us; the helpless and homeless, the forgotten, and those who fall through the cracks. Assist our communities with housing for veterans the homeless, substance abuse disorders, and mental health issues and offer hope to those in need. Our impact fill’s the gap and provides significant assistance through advocacy.To restore hope for those in need by providing relief to recovering Addicts/Alcoholics, who have shown an aptitude to stay clean and sober, while providing relief from financial stress so that they may focus on their recovery.To help fellow Alcoholics and Addicts find recovery and learn to accept life on life’s terms by offering support through safe and sober housing and the principles of the “12-Step Program.”To make life better for underserved and disadvantaged people and communities
