We Love What We Do

Every single one of our staff members, came to Step One Halfway House broken and in need of desperate help. Step One accepted us. We feel the obligation of passing down our knowledge, experience, and progress in dealing with our addictions, which is why we do what we do. Every staff member is a volunteer that wants to give back to the place that helped give them their lives back.

All of our staff are recovered addicts and alcoholics. Not only do they take the time to meet the needs of the individual, but they have also all walked through the gates feeling lost and alone. They all have one thing in common, though. They have found a new home, a new hope, and new sense of purpose here. Our Staff is fully qualified to be of service to others struggling with addiction and alcoholism because they have all fought the same battle you are fighting right now they have not only found the strength to overcome the power of addiction but have also found that you don’t have to go through it alone ever again.
